There is always something special about New Year's Eve and the promise of beautiful things in the New Year. Although there were restrictions on public celebrations last year due to the pandemic, New Year's Eve 2021 promises to be livelier. Read on for all you need to know about the ball drop in 2022.
Watching the New Year's Eve ball drop in Times Square is one of the special activities of New Year's Eve. Like it did in 2020, the ball will drop in Times Square this year, but it will not be a completely virtual experience.
Although the event will look slightly different, people are encouraged to attend this year's ball drop in person. For people planning to attend the big event, you can Google "Ball Drop Tickets" to get an IRL spot. You will find many places offering all-access passes to parties at nearby locations for different prices on a first-come, first-serve basis. All guests at this year's ball drop will be required to provide proof of vaccination and a valid ID.
The annual ball drop will take place on Dec. 31, 2021, in Times Square, with festivities taking off around 6 pm until midnight. Major television networks will cover the event, with many featuring performances by celebrities throughout the evening. The Time's Square official site will also host a live webcast. In addition, you can find other good streaming options on NewYearseve.nyc and TimesSquareBall.net.
